Now we transition to UND women's basketball where the team is coming off a conference roadtrip 1-1. The win over Southern Utah was the Fighting Hawks' first conference road win of the season. The team will try to carry that confidence into Saturday's game against Northern Colorado. The Bears sit in first place of the Big Sky standings and UND knows they will have to play an excellent game if they want to take down the top dog.
Time is ticking for UND hockey as they only have two regular season series left. With numerous things on the line, Taylor Brooks tells us how huge this weekend's road series is with Miami. Miami and UND met back in November where UND came out with a win and a tie, but North Dakota knows they both are two completely different teams than three months ago.

Sacred Heart falls to BGMR, 66-44.

It is officially here. The week of high school hockey state tournaments in North Dakota. Grand Forks will have two boys teams in the tournament as well as one girls hockey team. The Knightriders enter the state tournament with a 9-13-1 record but that doesn't matter at this point in the season. Everyone starts with a clean slate. Grand Forks will be the 6th seed in the tournament, the same spot they were seeded last season when they went all the way to play in the state championship game.
